Why sign up

Google Play requires a tester list before you can install

Closed testing on Google Play only lets in testers whose email is on the list, and only once they've accepted an invite. Signing up here adds your email to that list, so you can install the app the moment a build goes out.

You won't get spam. The email is used only to send your Play Store invite link and, occasionally, a heads-up when a new build is ready to try.
