Test Sayt

Why sign up

Google Play needs your email before it will show you the test

Google Play only shows a test to people whose email is on the tester list. Signing up here puts you on it and emails you the install link right away.

Access is granted by hand, so if the link says the test is not available yet, give it a little while and open it again — there is no need to sign up twice.

Use the Google account you actually sign in with on your Android phone — Play matches the test to that account, so a different address will not see it.

You won't get spam. The email is used only to send your Play invite link and, occasionally, a heads-up when a new build is ready to try.

What to expect

Same app, still being finished

  • Camera, observations, issues and plan pins already work
  • Cross-platform handoff with the iPhone version — a .saytpack file opens on either
  • Some screens are still catching up to the iOS build
  • Expect occasional rough edges — that's what testing is for

Feedback from testing shapes what gets fixed before the public Play Store release.
