Terms of Use

1. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Sayt on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or sublicense the app.

2. Sayt Pro

Sayt Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

The purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on your devices via More → Sayt Pro → Restore. Refunds are handled solely by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service; we cannot issue refunds directly.

3. Your content and your responsibility for it

Everything you create in Sayt — projects, photos, observations, measurements and reports — belongs to you. We claim no rights over it and, as described in our Privacy Policy, we never receive it.

Because your data is stored only on your device, you are solely responsible for backing it up. Deleting the app deletes its contents permanently.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Sayt complies with any professional, licensing, confidentiality or client obligations that apply to you, and for obtaining any permission needed before photographing a site.

4. Measurements are estimates

Measurements produced using the camera are digital estimates derived from your device's sensors, and are presented with a ≈ marker. They are intended for documentation only.

They are not survey-grade and must not be relied upon for setting out, fabrication, structural assessment, statutory compliance or any purpose where an inaccurate dimension could cause loss, injury or damage. Verify critical dimensions by independent physical measurement.

5. Professional judgement

Sayt is a documentation tool. It does not provide engineering, architectural, legal, safety or regulatory advice, and it does not assess, certify or validate anything you record. Reports it generates reflect only what you entered. All professional conclusions remain yours.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Sayt is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use Sayt.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Sayt is limited to the amount you actually paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update Sayt, and may add, change or remove features. If these terms change, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Continuing to use the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you stop complying with these terms. You may end it at any time by deleting the app. Sections 3 to 7 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection afforded by the law of your country of residence.
